ABOUT ME

I am Liza Oleman, a multidisciplinary artist currently residing in Bir Billing, Himachal Pradesh, yet deeply rooted in the vibrant culture of my birthplace, Assam. I have done my bachelors in interior design from Amity University. My artistic journey is a testament to the fluidity of expression, transcending boundaries of medium and geography. Embracing diverse canvases and mediums, I orchestrate a symphony of colors, textures, and emotions, seeking to provoke thought, evoke feeling, and invite introspection. At the heart of my creative exploration lies a profound fascination with the concept of flow. From the tender strokes of a paintbrush to the visceral intensity of performance art, I am endlessly captivated by the interplay between form and fluidity, chaos and harmony.

In my current body of work, I delve into a spectrum of my mental health, sexuality, gender fluidity, body positivity, and the intrinsic beauty of nature. Each painting is a mosaic of introspection, a reflection of the human experience in all its raw vulnerability and resilience. Through my art, I strive to challenge societal norms, spark conversations, and foster a deeper understanding of the intricacies of the human psyche. As a lifelong performer, I find solace in the act of creation — a sacred ritual of self-discovery and expression. Whether immersed in the solitude of my studio or dancing beneath the open skies, I am constantly seeking to unravel the mysteries of existence, one brushstroke at a time.
